The brothers Tomás and Alberto Emídio have no memories of their great-grandfather, José Nunes Quintas, who bought Quinta Várzea da Pedra and began producing wine there. They do, however, remember their grandfather, José Nunes Quintas Júnior. Today, it is down to them to perpetuate the family legacy and carry on winemaking.
