António Cardoso Pinto bought this estate in 2003 with the aim of creating a place where the family could get together. At the time, he could not have known that his two daughters would one day be working alongside him in wine production. Rita, the eldest, left her career in marketing and completed a master's degree in oenology. Today, she is the project manager. The younger daughter, Ana, who has a degree in architecture, specialised in the wine business at the University of California.
