Quinta de São Sebastião dates back to 1755 and was purchased in 1988 by António Parente. Passionate about vineyards and wine, he restored the house and also revitalised the vineyard. At the same time, he set about bringing together local producers and putting the Arruda Designation of Origin back on the country's wine map.
