A visit to Cape Town, South Africa, that inspired Artur Gama to register the name Quinta da Boa Esperança, even before purchasing the estate that would carry the name in 2014.
The vineyard was completely restructured, with a commitment to integrated production and, from 2016 onwards, organic farming. The estate now features a new winery and a visitor reception area, complete with an infinity pool. In the tasting room, guests can sample the house wines. The focus is on small-batch productions, predominantly single-varietals, crafted by winemakers Rodrigo Martins and Paula Fernandes.
