It was in a small grocery shop that José Constantino's adventure began, one that would eventually lead him into the wine industry. Before that, however, he entered the salt cod trade, reinvesting the profits into vineyards in the Torres Vedras region. His business was later divided between his children: Elisabete took over the salt cod operation, while Edgar took charge of the wines.
