Quinta da Boavista began producing wine under the guidance of José Santos Lima, but it was his grandson, José Santos Lima Oliveira da Silva, who took the first steps towards exporting. Over the past few decades, Oliveira da Silva has expanded the company to the point where it has become, by far, the largest producer in the Lisbon region, with over 400 hectares of vineyards.
Among the various quality wines produced by Casa Santos Lima, the Corvos de Lisboa brand is particularly noteworthy: a partnership with Lisbon City Council, produced from two hectares of vineyards next to Humberto Delgado Airport.
