AdegaMãe
Bonifácio Wines
AdegaMãe was acquired in 2007. Four years later, its first harvest took place and the building of the head office was completed. The brand is a tribute to Manuela Alves by her two sons, Bernardo and Ricardo, and her husband João, the owner of the Riberalves salt cod brand. Over the years, the 40-hectare vineyard has undergone remodeling, with a focus on white grape varieties, supervised by winemakers Anselmo Mendes and Diogo Lopes.
In 2020, the upper floor of the AdegaMãe building was converted into an inviting space for wine tourism, featuring a local produce shop, a wine bar and lounge, and the Sal na Adega restaurant, which naturally specialises in cod.
