Dinosaurs and brandy

Lourinhã · 2 stops

Guaranteed fun for all the family

Lourinhã is a land of fossils, but also of living culture, such as its famous brandy.

Set off early in the morning for Dino Parque, where you can explore the incredible collection of dinosaur fossils that the region preserved over centuries and which are now on display. Allow around 1 hour and 15 minutes by car from Lisbon to the park. There is a large car park on site.

Have lunch in the historic centre and visit the Castle Church and the Convent of Saint Anthony, then head on to visit the producers, where you can see production carried out according to the traditional methods of Cognac and Armagnac—which, along with Lourinhã, are the only other demarcated European regions for brandy production.
