Lisbon Wine Competition: the 2026 edition honours the region's best and awards 44 medals

The 16th edition of the Lisbon Wine Competition honoured 44 wines from producers in the region. Nine wines were awarded a Grand Gold Medal, 25 a Gold Medal and 10 a Silver Medal.

Best Arinto, Best Vital, Best White, Best Red and Best Leve were also chosen The 16th edition of the Lisbon Wine Competition, organised by the Lisbon Regional Wine Commission, honoured 44 wines from producers in the Lisbon Wine Region, reaffirming the excellence, diversity and quality of the wines produced in one of the country's most important wine-growing territories.

In the 2026 edition, 44 medals were awarded, of which nine Grand Gold Medals, 25 Gold Medals and 10 Silver Medals. The jury also named the Best Arinto, Best Vital, Best White, Best Red and Best Leve, recognising wines that stood out for their quality and for how well they represent the region's grape varieties and styles.
